I watch very few programs, and the ones I follow I usually start from the beginning.

Kilts. Yes or no?

Yes, if the guy has the legs for one-- and the courage to carry it off (I typed "pull it off" first, then thought that might be too literal).

Bagpipes, love 'em, hate 'em? I'm a life long fan of the pipes. They were always my favourite part of any parade.

I don't hate them, don't love them too much either. It just depends what they're playing. Can be very beautiful, for sure...

Hmm.. can't think of one. I guess I hate Wurlizer organ music - at least the kind they play in mall demos with all the do-do-do background beats.

Do you place Christmas lights on the tree carefully, winding each cord so it doesn't show - or do you just toss them on and hope no one will notice?

And I love you, I love you, I love you.

I'm a toss kind of gal. I figure that with all the ornaments and tinsel on if it bothers someone to see my cords then it's there problem. When I have the big tree up I like to have them evenly spaced, but cords don't bother me.

AMC, I miss organ music, probably because my mom used to play all the time when we were little. I miss it especially at Christmas because she used to have a big songbook she used to play from. I still have her Thomas organ, but it hasn't worked for a few years.

*giggling at Siobhan's kilt comment and knows she what she was really thinking about with the "pulling" comment*

What do you like most about Christmas?

EVERYTHING! Except for buying presents - that's kind of a pain, even though I mostly shop online. I like the music, the decorations, the lights, the baking, the family time, the time off of work... I love Christmas.

What do you hate most about this time of year?

I broke the knuckle on my left pinkie finger once. That may not sound like much, but it hurt like the devil for weeks and I still can't bend it quite right.

Yes. All three of our cats "strayed" across our path. The newest one, a little black female, came to us the night of Trick-or-Treat this year. She ran across three yards and into our open garage, then right into the house before I could stop her. We took it as a sign and decided to keep her (for good luck) when we couldn't find her owner.

Do you have a good luck charm?

yes, sort of. a necklace. it was not expensive at all but it looks as if and people tend to react in a nice way when they see it. actually it's not really a good luck charm... maybe i don't then. nice story about the little cat. must be an adorable thing.

Hillary. I've never heard anything of substance from Obama. But then my vote doesn't really count because our primary isn't until May and it's already tied up by then.

Buck's. They're local, I think.

I'll be glad when the primaries are over (this evening). SC is overrun with political groups.

Ever been push polled?

We've had more political "polls" calling us at home. Most just want to leave a recorded message on the answering machine. Some want to waste my time asking me loads of irrelavent questions.

I'm embarrassed to admit that I don't even own a winter hat. I usually wear earmuffs, and if I really need a hat I borrow one of my hubby's knit caps. I think he has half a dozen up in the closet.

Do you wear gloves or mittens?

Yes. I've recently started wearing those glove/mitten hybrids - they're amazing. I don't have to take them off when handling money etc. - I merely flip over the mitten bit and voila! Fingerless gloves for all my manual dexterity needs. Hooray!

What's the last item of clothing you bought?
