oooh... Ahoy would be great. One of my sister's friends answers the phone "ahoy-hoy", like Mr. Burns on the Simpsons

Do you watch the Simpsons? If you do, who's your favourite character?

Welcome back Tibbs! One thing new is the kissing game over at the Quidditch Pitch. Plus, AMC just got a new job, Diri has his master's, Unicorn has a good new job, Myf has a boyfriend (but that's not so new), Treefrog has a beautiful tadpole, Theo has a wildly successful fanfic, Bee is coming to the US this summer, plus I'm sure plenty of other things I can't remember at the moment.

What have I forgotten?

Well, Myf's reading for all of us... (well and she-dig, wherever she may be)

My kids, about a million times a day. When they aren't making me insane.

Do you feel you generally get sorted into the Hogwarts House you truly deserve?

My face. Or at least my face minus the current chubbiness.

Are there any bubbly pop songs you can't get out of your head right now? I've got "Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield going around in my head constantly right now. I think I need to purge it with some classical.

No pop songs, "My bonnie lass" is still stuck in my head. It replaced "Food, glorious food" about half an hour ago.

Good question! I saw Jefferson Starship once with Grace Slick ... really enjoyed that. Also, Yo-Yo Ma was amazing. Philip Glass in the early 80s was rather weird. The most fun concert ever was Jimmy Buffett. It's hard to say.

Have you ever been in a musical?

Why is it that whenever you want to find a version of "Night and Day" on Youtube they always leave out that creepy "You... you... you..." intro?

not at all. This week (and the one after that) are going to be hell. And then exams! yay! but instead of being proactive and actually doing work, I've been watching Scrubs.

By hand. I haven't got room in my kitchen for a dishwasher, otherwise I'd be sorely tempted to dig deep into my savings and buy one.

Why not, looks like fun. We used to have to learn square dancing at that age in school. Seven year olds take jazz, tap, ballet, etc.

Do people outside the U.S. have to learn square dancing in school?

I don't mind jazz, tap, ballet or square, it's the ballroom dancing that oogs me out. My ex is seriously (and I mean seriously) obsessed with ballroom dancing and insists my 7-year old son goes too. Seeing little kids do sexy Latin stuff is really nauseating, believe me. Sigh. I don't want to go to that place ever again.

My least favourite subject was definitely maths.

I think all babies should wear puke green tops and yellow-brown bottoms - it's only sensible. Okay seriously, I never dressed my girls in pink because I don't like pink - my girls wore red and purple and blue and all kinds of beautiful colors... And my nephew wore the same colors.

Do you have an uncommon phobia?

Since coming to London I have developed a really weird crow phobia. You don't know fear until you've been stared down by a raven. They're not scared of you. To them, you're lunch; you just haven't stopped moving yet. They can wait.

How does your environmental conscience manifest?

In small ways like using compact flourescents and recycling all the little stuff like cans and papers.

I read a national paper everyday. We have two local weekly papers which I'll usually have a skim through, but many's the week where nothing except the cinema listings grab my attention.

I'm not sure. My sleeping pattern is totally weird. I have to get up at 7.15 when I have my son, but I often have jobs late at night, so I don't get a lot of sleep. I catch up on Thursdays and Fridays, cos son is always at my ex then (weekends alternate).

Could I borrow some peebles, please?
