I like ginger and I've never heard of people being prejudiced against redheads... left-handed people, yes.

I find Emmma's punctuation-free posts oddly amusing.

Are you ambidextrous in any way?

And I love you, I love you, I love you.

No, I'm left-handed.

So, where have you heard of prejudice against us lefties?

Lefties are the work of the DEVIL! Which means that you're so much cooler than us boring right-handed people. I seem to know a surprisingly large number of left-handed people, so maybe that makes me evil by association.

Are you double-jointed?

P.S. If someone can answer the prejudice against red-haired people question, please do! I've never heard the likes of it in my life! I'm surrounded by redheads and I love a spot of persecution, so let me know so I can form my own anti-red league (I assume I'm safe because I'm more of an auburn brown - I was a redhaired child though!)

Yes, I'm double-jointed.

I'd never heard of the red-headed prejudice thing until I came to the UK. Apparently in Cornwall (which originally had mostly dark-haired people) having a red-haired child meant you'd slept with the enemy.

What's your favourite type of tree?

A nice comfy yellow one. Not too big, not too small, not too hard, not too soft.

Not a great description, but since the word I usually use to describe pillows is "pillowy", it's the best I can do right now.

Am I the only person who thinks Barack Obama looks like Sam Cooke?

I don't know who Sam Cooke is so I can't really answer.

Back to the "ginger" thing, my sister is very much a carrott top and goes through phases where she absolutely loves it or absolutely hates it. It's gorgeous though. She wanted to get highlights and the hairdresser talked her out of it. My mom also flat-out refused.

How often do you eat out?

Yes, my grandfather, and I think both his brothers.

Was anyone else reminded of The Godfather when they heard of the girl who received a package containing her dog's head?

I didn't hear that! That's awful!

Ooooh ... I have too many favorite cheeses to count! If I had to choose, I'd say good buffalo mozzarella (which is practiaclly impossible to get around here) or brie.

What food do you love but can't get a hold of very often?

Saturday: Taco Pizza from Pizza Hut. I know that sounds utterly wrong, but it's actually pretty good.

I've never eaten any strange pizzas (unless you count the whole idea of pineapple on pizza as aberrent, as I do) but I have observed them. My stepfather once ate an "equus" pizza in Venice. I have heard that in Japan they make pizza with sea urchin and mayonnaise.

I've never understood the appeal of sea urchin. Every time I go to a sushi restaurant, my stepfather and brother wolf it down, but to me it tastes like earwax.

You ever tried it?

Nope. I don't even know what a sea urchin is. Care to explain? If they're anything like periwinkles I bet I'd love them. Mmmm... periwinkles.

Have you ever considered shaving your hair off and starting over from scratch?

Not unless I get cancer. My biggest fear is that I will go bald like my grandfather. I already got his receding chin; if I get his hairline, I'm already dead.

You don't know what a sea urchin is? Spiny thing? Related to the starfish? Hm. Anyway, it looks like this:

But, stripped of its spines and served in a sushi restaurant, it looks like this:

What is something you love to eat that everyone you know hates?

Hmm, I think about 48 hours or so. Spent about 7 hours packing and buying cheap booze, 30 hours either travelling or sitting around in airports and bus stations, and the rest of the time staring blankly like a zombie or complaining about my sunburn.

How long do you usually sleep for at night?

About 7 hours a night, but my body could really use 9 hours a night.

Diri, you can just do what my brother-in-law did. He used to have long hair, then got it cut short. Then he started to go bald so he started shaving it off completely. He's been completely shaven for about 10 years now and would look so odd with hair. But then he has a nice round head and it looks fine on him. Some men can't pull off this look.

Speaking of bald heads, do you watch Deal or No Deal, or any other gameshows?

Father Ted! Partly for nostalgic reasons. Partly because - scarily - its parody of rural Ireland is bang on the money. Partly because it was filmed near my house. Partly because it's the only good Irish comedy in living memory, possibly ever (probably because it's British-made). Partly because it always makes me laugh without ever getting old. And partly because not a day goes by without someone at some point saying the words "Down with this sort of thing" and someone else (occasionally a stranger, which is always fun) chipping in with "Careful now". Trust me, it's funny if you're familiar with the programme.

A tie between turtle's eggs, piranha, and crocodile, all eaten on the same Amazonian river trip.

Would you eat anything that could eat you?
