Why Pesky, I didn't know you liked to play so rough!
Who did cour kiss that last time? Ah, Charley Weasley. No wonder she left so quickly!

Argh, no, not Old Mouldyshorts again! That's three times already! I'll trade you Pesky. At least Snape has a nose and regular pupils-- his hair may be greasy, but that's better than snake scale scalp.

Right, I was also wondering what happened to cour. Charley, then, huh? And she's not yet back!

I wouldn't mind kissing a Weasley now...
Lee Jordan... Well, this is a new experience for me. A sports nut, no? And I haven't seen the movies so I don't really know what he looks like. Ok, he's not Sirius but at least I didn't get the giant squid or something.

Formerly Garside! ;-)

hahahha I must have completely forgotten about it. Well I really don't want to give Charley up, but let's see...

Hedwig . Poor thing. Still, I think I should get to keep Charley since I only just claimed him.

I'm more than ready to trade that nasty snake in.

George/George's Ear! You know, it isn't specified which ear. I could very well be the one still attached. Then again this is the kissing thread, not the nibbling thread. Seems a minor distinction to me.

Can I get a house elf please? I really need someone to come and clean and scrub my bedroom. I'm also removing 100 years of wallpaper and texturizing the walls. That's a ton of work and I'm feeling overwhelmed! I need help.

Hmmm...Bathilda Bagshot or Elphias Doge. I'll give a peck to Doge, he's still living and hasn't had a snake possess his dead body that we know of. I guess my house elf is busy.

Where, oh where, has Jo's house elf gone? Oh where, oh where, can he be? With Voldemort and his horcrux along, he's probably under the sea.
OK, so that's not strictly speaking correct, but at least it rhymes.

Bloody Baron. Guess I'll leave the lyrics to the professionals.

The wayward house elves sing this song, Doo-dah, Doo-dah!
Stripping wallpaper takes too long, oh, doo-dah-day!
Gonna hide all night,
Gonna hide all day,
Then when Jo has the job all done,
We'll come out and play!

I think freedom has gone to their heads.

Here, Jo, I'll send you Viktor Krum. Maybe he can help ... or at least distract you for a while!

Thanks for the songs and Viktor Krum. I feel like I've opened Pandora's box. The more work I do the worse it gets! I'm just moving boxes from one corner to another. Then after the room is done (which will take me months the rate I'm going) the old plaster ceiling needs removed and a new ceiling put in. I need an army of house elves or some handy home improvement spells.

Scorpius. I really don't think he'll know any DIY spells but he'll need a big hug just for having Draco for a father.

Hmmm,
I could do with an army of house-elves myself. House is a mess!

Not sure Old mouldy shorts can help me though. The front door will probably blow off now or something...

I'm dusty from cleaning out my closet today. Most of the stuff was from the 70s and early 80s. I half expected a boggart to come out at me. But none showed up. I don't know who would want to kiss me with all this dust covering me, but let's find out.

Ooh, Prongs. Good choice.

This week I'm spending my hard-earned vacation time helping my invalid in-laws, stripping their old wallpaper, painting their spare bedroom which has way too many mouldings, and cooking meals they won't eat. If that doesn't earn me a great kiss, nothing does.

Grawp, wah. Oh well, that's the kind of week it's been. Tomorrow I take my father-in-law to the cardiologist; hope that goes better.

Ooh, Padfoot. I'm working my way through the Marauders. Next up, Moony.

Must be wallpapering season. My in-laws are stripping paper preparatory to painting, too. I've steered clear of paper as much as possible. I didn't have much choice in the kitchen, but went with one of those textured papers that looks like pressed tin over the parts that had to be papered. The other bits are a nice blackberry trellis pattern that I love.

Kissy, kissy... Seamus! Once again in the land of the living!

Fortunately (or unfortunately) for me, the wallpaper stripping was the easy part of our job; Slushy and I had that all done in a few hours. The scary part is that the room is wainscoted from the chair rail down with picture-frame mouldings, all of which have to be hand-painted with a trim brush. All twenty squares, all around the room. (I counted them today as I was painting.) It takes forever, but it'll look fabulous when it's done.

Aha, the Gringotts Blind Dragon has come to carry me away, at least until tomorrow morning, when it's back to painting again. *sigh*
