Also:

the person who got a reprieve was Arthur Weasley, who was supposed to die in OotP (during Nagini's attack, I suppose). Instead, she killed off Ted Tonks.

the scene which caused her to howl when she finished was Harry's walk into the Forest to face his death.

McGonagall doesn't take over as Headmistress at the end of DH.

Harry comes back to do 'occasional lecturing' in DaDA.

More HP backstory? Yes please!

That's the only part that I really cried. I mentioned it on the sad moments thread, but when he was walking in the forest I balled the entire time. I went through a little mountain of tissues. I was thinking I was unfeeling because I didn't cry at deaths of Fred, Tonks, and Lupin and then BAM! From reading around, I didn't think anyone cried through Chapter 34. I knew he would live, but oh, it was just painful. Just thinking about it makes me want to start again.

I'm not really religious at all, but Psalms 27 came mind as I was reading this chapter. Especially this part:
When evildoers came upon me to devour my flesh, My adversaries and my enemies, they stumbled and fell.
Though a host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear:
though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

On a happy note, isn't it great the JKR will write more about her universe. My family already thinks it's money driven and she didn't kill of Harry so she can write more, but she's always said she might do this, whether Harry dies or not. We just might have a long, long wait for it.

That scene was powerfully moving and the reason JKR has so many devoted fans.

I would love to read an encyclopedia on the Potterverse. Maybe she'll finally answer our age old question.
