Leaky Cauldron recently confirmed that WB is remastering the HP movies to HD format. Yes, that means great things, but what I've been so far unable to determine is whether the deleted scenes have been edited back in. Does anyone know?

Also, can anyone enlighten me about the Swan Lake photos on the Leaky Galleries? Is there some HP tie, or are the Cauldron folks just ballet fans?

HD SUCKS! Give me good ol' PAL anyday. Besides, most HD TVs are not truly "HD" anyway.

I don't know if our HD TV is "truly" high definition. I do know that the picture is really clear-- as in count the dog's hairs when watching a dog show. PAL isn't an option for the US. We have to have things translated. That's how we managed to get "Song of the South."

The fact that the new DVD's will have a straight-to-special features format is nice. Playing the little games to see the deleted scenes was fun the first time, but became old quickly.
