OOoo! I like Viktor as the new DADA professor - but only after book 7. I'd hate to see him meet an untimely end.

What will happen to our friends from Durmstrang and .. shoot, what was the Fleur's school? Beaubatons, of course. Will they be seen again? I hope so, I hope we see lots of old friends but I'm afraid she's left too much to tie up and we can't see everyone or it would be like the "Road to Oz" book, where characters just make walk-on cameos.

As a side thought, do you think the curse on the DADA job might be lifted now that Dumbledore's gone?

As for Beauxbatons, we know we'll see the Delacours at least, at Bill and Fleur's wedding. Can you imagine Gabrielle grown into a beautiful young girl, having a crush on Ron? Would Hermione be jealous or merely find it amusing? I can imagine all sorts of funny things happening with a whole family of half-veela camped out in the Burrow's backyard.

Well, this is probably a very simplistic reason, but the books are written from Harry's perspective. Harry had to witness those deaths so we, the readers, could witness them too. There is no better way to present events of such importance than to take the readers there in person.

"Seeing is believing" as the saying goes. Although, for some even seeing isn't believing. For us, as well as for Harry, unless we actually witnessed the event, it wouldn't have been real (and even easier for us to deny it). As for why it had to be Snape to kill DD, I don't have an answer to that.

Oh I totally agree that Riddle will end up a ghost - honestly, what else could he end up as? I supposed if a Dementor got him he'd just disappear but that's kid of a cop-out.

Pixie - I didn't think of that. YES I do think the DADA curse is probably lifted as DD is no longer Headmaster.

SO.. you think Neville will kill Bellatrix? That's one that didn't occur to me!

Oh I'm SO pleased - look everyone, our town drunk is Barmy! Which is much better than our town drunk being Barney, the Purple Dinosaur. THAT would be weird.

True.

Not sure I can think of anything else to say to that - Im still digesting the absurdity.

I think I find Barney a bit scary in an odd way....

*sneaks in looking furtive*

Anyone mind if I snog Cedric in here? I don't want to go on over to the Quidditch pitch thread because I'll end up kissing someone else!

Wow Nuggy, you're not only covering for Morgoth as the Town Drunk, you're doing a fabulous Tsukiketa imitation! She was always the one for snogging Quiddich players in dark corners... sniff. I miss Tsuki... but snog away. I'll just go to the other side of the room and read loudly. (where's that whistling smilie when we need it?)

DH is reading Book 6 again, he was groggy this morning because he stayed up late, he couldn't put it down - on the second time through! Gotta love that. I was saying how mystified I was by Dumbledore - after that whole "I should have told you" scene in OotP he spends Book 6 ignoring Harry's messages about Draco, putting his students, his school and himself at grave risk. I don't get it.

*Yawn*

I'm working late so I thought I'd pop into my favorite spot for a pint and a game of Snape-darts. No one's around, I'm the only working stiff stupid enough not to have managed to avoid the graveyard shift. Sigh.

So let me cast my mind around for other questions - I don't think I'll actually get around to creating and pseudo polls until April or May - we have to give people time to make up their minds for once and for all!

*hands AMC another dart*

I could do with thinking of some questions too, I suppose, but feel I ought to re-read first before I can come up with something that would be worth posting.

*enters, dragging Snape by the greasy hair*

Hey guys! Look who I just nabbed over at the Quidditch Pitch. Anyone else wanted to get in a smack in while we have the chance? *threatens Snape with spare darts*

We also need to celebrate AMC's new job! Fizzy multicolored drinks are on me. Congratulations, AMC!

Really, what are wands for if not to drag people around when you don't want to soil your hands.

*Sends a Cornish Pixie over to tweak Snape's nose* Hmm - what shall we do with you? ...I know! We'll give you detention here in S.I.N.U.S. just for being a git. After all, you gave Harry detention for being a decent guy - and turn-about is more than fair play.

I think we'll have you do all of the club's laundry - like Muggles do. No magic allowed. The darks need cold water wash, the whites need pre-soaking and make sure you don't let anything else get washed with the kitchen cloths. You must separate the delicates for hand-washing in cold water and check all the pockets before you wash anything at all. Do a good job now and be careful, if anything gets shrunk or abused in the laundry process, you're just going to have to do it all over again.

*Sits back to enjoy the show*

Slushy, you SO rock my world.

Does that towel read "Kitchen Love" or "Kitchen Lav"? Because think Starling's got him booked for "Lav" duty next.

Make sure to hang-dry the lingerie, you!

You know, I vote we get to have Snape as our house-slavey until someone from the SINE group kisses him on the other thread. Motion seconded? Thank you. All in favor? All against? It's unanimous - we get to have him do all of the menial, degrading chores we can come up with until a Snape-fan gets him back on the kissing thread.

So...

I think the tile grout needs cleaning. With a small toothbrush and... lemon juice! (mad cackling in the background "yes! yes! A shrubbery!") So.. get to it, Sev.

Hmm - do you think he'll really want to kiss you after he cleans your house? I never want to kiss anyone after I clean house! Besides - would you really want to kiss Snape? *shivers* Not I! Still, he's doing a good job on the baseboards.

Yeah - you don't think we'll give up a house cleaner that easily, do you? Besides, Slushy deserves a break. I think Snape needs to get her another cup of tea.... and let's have him give her a pedicure while she drinks it.
