*Smacks the basilisk for Emma* Just don't look at him Emma - use a back-handed blow.

Voldemort???

*picks up the basilisk tail and smacks Voldy about the ears* You're a Very BAD man! You shouldn't AK people! Or have come back from the dead! You're Bad, bad, bad!

*Extra smack for good measure*

Ahh - this thread is so cathartic now.

I've just spent two days shopping with my mother .... catharsis sounds good about now.

Of course, a good snog with Charlie Weasley can be cathartic too, don't you think?

Let's see who fate brings to me this time.

Okay, I've kissed Fleur good luck too much for her wedding. How about a slap this time for being non-empathetic (what is the right word?) to the Weasleys.

Sorry but Kreacher needed that.

Flobberworm - I'm smacking it now. I'm sick of seeing it and there have been WAY too many flobberworm sightings recently. Maybe we could pair up the flobberworm with Cho and Cedric.

Pressing my luck has worked before...

Hermione. I don't want to kiss her, so I'll smack her for being a fool about Ron.

Ha! Cour's kissing Hermione - I don't think any of us dare smack her! (whoo - I was wrong, Cour's braver than I knew)

... which gets me the Bloody Baron. SMACK! Don't drip on me, okay?

Ooh, Hermione's too scary. I'd rather smack Ginny and risk her bat-bogey hex than smack Hermione. She might make strange things erupt on unexpected parts of my body.

Those comments got me Harry! I think he may be more scared of Hermione, too.

It was a well-intentioned smack. I think Hermione was smart enough to figure that out. Why on earth would you be scared of Harry?? I would be more afraid of Ginny if I had to kiss Harry.

That got me Quirrel. *GREAT BIG SMACK*

Eww...? Not sure. (That was in response to Padfoot's wet kisses... )

The Fat Lady. She can't get enough of me.

This is SO unfair. Diri and I post at about the same time - he gets LUPIN and I get the FAT LADY... AGAIN! I'm going to give her a smack just for not having pushed in front of Lupin in the queue.

Poor Padfoot ... I think he'd just been out rollicking as a dog. I'll be more careful next time and make sure he's been transformed back a little longer before I kiss him. I like dogs, but you have to draw the line somewhere.

No fair. Diri gets Moody and I get dog kisses and now Cornelius Fudge. At least I can smack Fudge. *SMACK*

Cour, nobody's afraid of Harry. I just said that Harry might be afraid of Hermione when she gets into one of her moods.

So it's Diri who took Lupin away from me finally. Although, I can see AMC is a bit bitter about missing out on Lupin. What's horrible is on second off Lupin you get Voldemort!

Guess I'll blow a kiss in the direction of the Grey Lady.

Jo, Losing Lupin has got to be rough - but losing him to a guy, that's brutal! (This actually happened to a friend of mine in college - her boyfriend's next girlfriend was a boyfriend, very hard on her self-esteem.)

Hermione. Big smacking kiss , just because I think she's great.

Tee hee, I read the smacking Fudge wrong. It sounded a bit naughty.

I'll kiss the next one with my eyes closed for a surprise.

I'm very fond of Olivander but I'd like to know where he ran off to... or was taken to.

Draco Malfoy! Now, if I were a nice, empathic person I'd give him a nice kiss because he was crying (boohoo) in Myrtle's bathroom and he was scared (double boohoo) of Voldemort. But I'm a nasty witch so here goes:

*SMACK* For joining the DEs, you numbskull.
*SMACK* For bragging about it.
*SMACK* For kicking a prone person in the face, you lousy coward.

Gosh, I've scarcely gotten past the first chapters of HBP!

Someone else will have to smack him for trying to poison a teacher and almost poisoning Ron, practically killing someone by giving them cursed jewelry, endangering all of his friends by escorting Greyback safely into his school...

And I love you, I love you, I love you.

I'll give it another go. The speed the boards are moving this morning will leave me in suspense...

The Bloody Baron? Can't decide whether to kiss or smack him, but I rather think I should stay on his good side. I wonder which he would appreciate more? Perhaps a kiss of a ring or something royal like that?

I suppose the speed issue could be my 'puter. It's been slacking off lately.

That wasn't actually him. But it was probably something he would have done.

Hmmm. I seem to be the lucky one these days, at least from a female perspective. Let's see what happens...

Egh. Madame Pince. I don't think I'll smack her; something deep in my soul tells me not to get on the wrong side of librarians.

Grrr...of course, JKR has made it abundantly clear that Remus doesn't swing that way, despite what a segment of fandom thinks.

Harry again! He's showing up often nowadays.

Well, Diri - Logically, it might not have been her fault but emotionally it felt like she was responsible for him going off of liking women. Also, even if you can get past the rejection of your gender, you hit the question: if he was truly attracted only to men all along - why was he dating her in the first place? Face-saving, of course. So not only did she have some concern about her performance as a girlfriend she had to face the fact that the man she was in love with had never even been truly attracted to her. That's pretty rough.

Bloody Baron again! Damn! *smacks him away* Go see Siobhan for kisses and STOP dripping on me.

And I love you, I love you, I love you.
