For those who don't know me, I'm an American, but I teach English at a private catholic junior high school for girls in Japan. I'm not around very much, but I've been at HPG in it's various forms for about five years, all the way back to the 'Banana Boards'.

It's great to see so many of you back again.

Ooh Jewlz, I'm jealous. Hope you're enjoying life in NZ!

I'm 26 now. Other details remain unchanged. :)

Almost 30!!!
Bee Posted - 01/20/2010 : 16:00:10
I'm 25 now. Again, I have no idea where time is going.
Siobhan Posted - 01/19/2010 : 11:14:28
Another tradition kept: I'm late updating this entry!
Husband and I turned 44 in October and December, respectively. Daughter turned 13 this month.
Cour_Delafleur Posted - 01/18/2010 : 23:52:01
Keeping with my tradition (ish) of the past few years... an update

Cour_Delafleur Posted - 02/01/2009 : 20:27:06
I'm still coming to grips with the fact that I'm in my twenties. I've fully accepted (and embraced) that I'm not a teenager anymore, but I feel like I need a longer transition period between being a teenager and being in my twenties.

And I joined HPG when I was 14. I can't believe it's been 7 years.
AMC Posted - 01/30/2009 : 00:45:59
I can't remember when I first joined HPG - so I guess that makes me older than ANY of you because I'm completely senile!

Oh that's nice to hear! Not that I'm not enjoying my twenties. Much better than my teens.

I was 16 when I first joined HPG. It's hard to believe it's been that long.
Theowyn Posted - 01/28/2009 : 19:06:54
I don't think I've ever posted here. I'm now 47 and must have been 40 when I first joined this forum. I can't believe it's been that long?
sunsethill Posted - 01/28/2009 : 15:57:49
I keep having to calculate exactly how old I am because I keep forgetting. I am now 52 years old and can't believe it. And congrats to Bee and Cour for moving firmly into their twenties. The twenties were nice, but the thirties were better!
Siobhan Posted - 01/18/2009 : 15:54:42
Hmmm. I don't remember whether I posted here last year or not. Last birthday I turned 43.
Bee Posted - 01/18/2009 : 14:15:31
Ha, I was 21 when I last posted on this topic, so I suppose it's time for me to update as well. I'm 24 now, and I'm not sure where the last three years have gone... Still female and Irish though!
Cour_Delafleur Posted - 01/15/2008 : 12:49:38

am now 21/f/Canada

But of course darling!

I just meant I think it was hard for other people to read. In my mind's-eye I recall it being quite bright. But then again we weren't left with many options. We did the best we could with what we had.

Order of the Bookmark is a signature line for those of us who went through the several incarnations of the boards (the Bananas to the Yo-Yo's). You definitely qualify. I remember you from aeons ago!

Omg! Hellooo all! I've been saying since before book 7 came out that I needed to get to HPG again. And I've finally made it!!!

I've been a member since Sept/Oct 2001 during the Banana Board Epic. Those were lovely weren't they? Had a really good chat feature. Everyone was on ALL the time. But I digress. You may remember me as the girl who said *BOLD* all the time. I wrote in that awful orange/yellow colour. I was a member of that "cult" thing and after that broke up I tried to concentrate on schooling and traveling, leading to varying degrees of internet accessibility and thus a lull in my appearances. I think I have at least registered for each of the incarnations of this board.

I was going to change my name to something more fitting (graduated from MSU in 2005 so it's been a while lol!) but decided to keep it for old time's sake. I have met 2 HPGers in RL, one of whom I am close enough to go and visit fairly often (though not as often as we both would like!) I have of course kept in touch with more of you via LJ, Diaryland, and now Facebook.

I think that's more than enough of a bio lol. I heard something about an Order of the Bookmark? What's all that then?

Elizabeth is Treefrog's baby, Anna. I think she would be well suited for either Gryffindor or Ravenclaw.
Bee Posted - 07/31/2007 : 23:52:18
The baby's Treefrog's, but I've no doubt she is adorable. Although, I do believe she is a glorious Hufflepuff and not a smelly Gryffindor.

Yay, IS is here!
ImSirius Posted - 07/31/2007 : 23:17:04
Thanks guys! JKR, did you have a baby??! If so, Congratulations!!! I'm sure she's too adorable for words.
JKRisSuperior Posted - 07/31/2007 : 11:34:28
Welcome back!

Welcome back, IS.
ImSirius Posted - 07/30/2007 : 23:55:46

Oh my god, this is amazing.

First of all, I must apologize! I entered the great world of college two years ago, and I sort of lost touch with the internet world. After HPG crashed that last time, I lost the link for Alex's board, and then apparently this one started up, which Bee mentioned in her livejournal, and now I am here!

Anyway, it is good to be back and to see so many familiar faces!

Most people call me (at least they did, anyway :P) IS, and I've been a member of the HPG boards since I was 13. Except for the gap formerly mentioned.

I'm so glad this forum was created :). It feels good to know that you guys haven't just disappeared into nothingness :P.

My, I have much catching up to do!
Bee Posted - 07/23/2007 : 21:00:21
Yay, Sumer! Archi (brain twin!)! Welcome back!

Jokelly Posted - 07/19/2007 : 23:40:34
Sumer is Remus spelled backwards! I remember. Welcome back, Archi and Sumer.
JKRisSuperior Posted - 07/19/2007 : 22:14:43
Hi, Sumer! I remember you.
